Cults & Witchcraft in a Remote Town
In a small and mostly abandoned town, the population significantly declined from over 3000 to under 500 over the span of 12 months. After the factory, which was the town's main economic backbone, closed, more people left in search of job opportunities.
Leaving a small number of people still living in town and turning the police into one sherif. But one strange evening something unthinkable happens and will change the outcome for our protagonist and this town.
Story - Content
Cursed Affection is an NSFW visual novel that is about a small, low-populated town that falls under the spell of an actual powerful witch. Putting up an invisible dome around the town, whoever tries to leave or enter will feel a massive headache and die if they go too far to the dome border.
We follow our protagonist through this story, who is the town's sheriff after the police station staff got cut down. Who got a pregnant girlfriend, but in this story, you’ll meet a girl who seems enchanting, and after you start slipping around, you happen to romance more women in town and not only your girlfriend.
And with this enchanted girl came a cult who swear they’d hunt down every awakened witch and do a necessary procedure to remove their powers.
Who are the evil ones? The Cult members? The Witch? Or something even worse, hiding in the shadows until it’s time to appear?
Game Information
The game/story is very long but interesting; after playing for around 2.8 hours, I’ve noticed the game jumps from episode 1 to episode 3. Never saw episode 2 being displayed during that time; either I must’ve been blind, or it could be some small error.
This game contains a lot of content, lots of different choices and paths, and multiple endings. Depending on your choices, you can end paths with certain girls, you can proceed deeper with some of them, and some choices can get you killed. And I mean more than once; there are choices throughout the story that have the possibility to end you, but you just proceed again at your save file.

Graphics/Details
The graphics for the surrounding environment and inside buildings look very good, with added small details to give more life to each scene.
Though I would have to mention the shading and light. In most scenes and intimate animations, everything is very bright; in some scenes, it looks better and gives the light an actual purpose with turned-on lights.
For example, in the motel during chapter 10 with Allison, the light in the room looked amazing in the animation.
Everything still looks good, but this is something that got spotted by my eyes and felt like it could’ve been done better. But also, if it gets done better, it deserves to cost more.
Characters/Animations
The characters look good, both in design and proportions, along with their clothes and their details.
When it comes to intimate animations, they’re very smooth and appealing and quite difficult to spot when they go on repeat.
I’ve only spotted a few collisions during these scenes, but they are no biggies; the scenes still look remarkable and pleasing.
And the few non-NSFW animations look highly realistic, even when there are few. For example, in the beginning when walking up to the ruined church, the torches had their own realistic short animation of the flames waving.
And then I assume AI character speaking animations, which move their face, eyes, mouth, and bit of their body, making it look more alive.
Audio
Sound Effects/Intimate Sounds
It’s not often that visual novels have sound effects FOR EVERYTHING. Okay, not literally everything, but the game contains a lot of sound effects of good quality too, which I did not expect.
And they offer decent/good intimate sound effects and moans for the intimate scenes/animations.
Music
The music isn’t that much to talk about; it's lovely music that changes throughout the playthrough and depends on scenery.
It's calm and pleasing to the ears, even with its large selection of different songs.

My final little thoughts
Even after almost 6 hours it's still going and just reaching chapter 10, and that is just halfway through the game.
My honest opinion is that the game deserves to cost more, because this game is made so when the first main story ends, it continues with a new story from the point of the end of the last story.
I know, it sounds confusing when saying it out loud, but you’ll understand when playing. At least in my opinion it keeps the tension and interest by having more stories instead of just one long one.
