It’s Called Football, not Soccer
Starting your new life begins in the US with your soccer (Football) stipendium for college. The few years you’ll never forget: the wild parties, the lovely adventures, the ladies, and the harsh training.
Story - Content
Greyvale Rivalry is an NSFW Visual Novel that takes about 4 – 5 hours to finish. And it is about our protagonist who grew up most of his life in England playing football and with his skills earned a stipendium for college in the US.
Arriving a bit earlier than planned, our protagonist had to take public transport over to the school grounds (as his friend wasn’t there to meet and pick him up).
After arriving at the school grounds, you finally meet your old friend and get invited to a college party. Which, later, you’ll find out was a bad idea to attend, too.
Let's say, long story short. You had plenty of fun and met lots of interesting and attractive people. Buuut you also found out about the US football and (actual) football teams' feud, and by attending said party, you broke a promise/agreement. And got your ass kicked, but luckily got the full LIFT service to help out.
Through the story, you’ll train and help the football team win once again after years, all while exploring the wild events of college life and college girls.
Extras
The EXTRAS tab in the main menu displays the three options: Scenes, Cinematics, and COMING SOON.
The Scenes tab contains all lewd actions/animations that happen throughout the game; for episode 1, it's only four.
The cinematics tab holds all and every small cinematic movie clip. And it contains four that you’ll see throughout playing the game fully.
But also one extra in the cinematics tab (which even I did not see during my gameplay and cannot remember unlocking).
And I’m guessing everyone can understand what COMING SOON means.
Phone
The main purpose of the phone is the same as any other phone. Texts. But the reason I am specifically mentioning the phone in this game is that it serves a unique purpose.
It got links to their Steam, Patreon, and Discord.
Messages, Tasks – Basic Game Required Apps: One is for dialogs, and the other is basically a quest list.
Lenfos, Magnet – Lenfos is some sort of social media with minor lore of characters and events. Magnet is a dating app that has bugs in its swiping left or right system.
Games – Has Phonedle, Sweepy, Snaky, Blackjack, and TowerJumpy. All actual playable games.
Backgrounds, Settings, Gallery – Backgrounds change the color; Settings are for text size and message delays, and Gallery is unfortunately currently broken. It would have images of characters, and you could pick the character you wanted to see and their pictures.
Visuals & Audio
Visuals
Graphics & Shaders/Light
The graphics, background, water, shaders, and light all truly look amazing. Anywhere you look, it looks highly realistic and sharp. I don't know how I can explain it further than just that. It looks excellent.
Animations
The lewd animations look very well done, smooth, and erotic, but there still are some minor collisions. One obvious to see is in the back of the US football team’s party van, where one of the girls' tongues collided with the protagonist's.
Otherwise, the animations look almost real, like how the characters move and the small details of their entire bodies reacting to what they do and how their faces change too.
Audio
Music
The music in this game might have been the best and, to be fair, fitting as well—music I've ever heard for any NSFW visual novel.
Sound Effects | Intimate Sounds
The phone has notification volume and message volume, which is a small but detailed touch that gives a big impression for being such a small thing.
The lewd sound effects during lewd animations are of good quality and sound extremely exotic. But in some scenes the audio doesn’t sound like it fits with the animation/movement, and other times the audio just doesn’t fit at all.
(Like with the redhead at the bar's bathroom)

My Final Little Thoughts
I love the spirit of the main protagonist that he agrees with the rest of the world on what ACTUAL FOOTBALL is, and the game truly is well made with a lot of details and minor extra add-ons like games on the phone.
The story is good, and I think we all hoped for a bit longer gameplay and a bit more lewd action or teases within the given session, but everything was still very good.
I’d have to highly recommend trying Greyvale Rivalry ONCE it is fully published, as this review was played on a key from the devs before it was fully released.
Playtime: 4-5hrs
