Reconnecting is a NSFW visual novel game that tells the story of a 40 years old man who is trying to “reconnect” with her daughter after giving her up for adoption 20 years ago... Be aware that this game’s target audience is straight males and contains a lot of sex scenes with pregnant woman and incest. If you don’t like those fetishes, close this review and don’t bother with this game.

What is it exactly that you do in this game?
It’s a very simple visual novel where you read dialogue, make decisions over random choices that can sometimes pop-out on the screen and watch NSFW short videos. There are no puzzles or random sections where you can explore locations.
Will it make my eyes bleed?
For NSFW visual novels on steam, this looks fairly decent. The models look really good and they don’t look uncanny or weird like in most of the cheap NSFW visual novels on steam. The background scenes are very simple and bland but they aren’t terrible. Reconnecting has amazing NSFW short animated loops that run at 60FPS and have great jiggle physics with well animated poses and multiple angles, this is by far the best feature of the game and for NSFW visual novels standards in Steam it’s just excellent.
Does it have a good story?
In my opinion the story is nothing special. The one thing that stood out to me of Reconnecting is the originality of the premise. Like with most NSFW games on Steam, it’s just an excuse for you to get to the next lewd scene. There is a bit of an attempt to create drama and give the characters some depth but it’s nothing mind blowing, very surface level. The best thing that I can say about it is that I didn't hate it.
Does it have a good soundtrack?
It's fine. What matters for a good soundtrack in a game is to enhance the gameplay and the story. The OST for this game accomplishes that well enough. I didn’t quite like the songs but I didn’t felt the urge to turn the music off.
Does it have replay value?
Only if you want to re-experience the same game but with slightly different outcomes and unlock all the sex scenes and probably the other endings. It took me around 4 hours to finish this game on my first time and about 1 hour just on my second play through.
Does it run well?
In the 5 hours that I spent on this game I did not encounter a single crash, bug or glitch. It runs flawlessly.
Is it fun?
If you are into the fetishes that this game has, sure. If you are not into incest or sex with pregnant women… Then not so much.
Is this game worth my hard earned money?
For the $5 that this game asks for… it’s a decent offer. The only thing that any NSFW game should nail out is their NSFW bits, and this game excels at it. I’m going to say it again in case you just skipped to this section of the review without reading anything else, but if you are into incest and pregnancy related fetishes, then this game is worth it
