Story - Content
Star College is about our main protagonist, who is stuck working at a remote gas station on the edge of a forgotten town after his life got ruined by the rumors of him and his principal getting too close and even doing some unthinkable stuff together.
One casual day, just like any other, he waits out of boredom with his colleague/friend, whose last day it is. And like any other day, with no customers, you and your friend head out to the side of the gas station where an old motorcycle arcade is dumped and still working.
For five whole years you’ve tried beating that damn game, but no luck yet... Until today. Beating this game is your last goal before leaving this shithole to find new horizons and better opportunities. Somewhere where no one knows you or your past.
You did it; you beat the game, and the text displayed after you won states (“Welcome to Nebula Athletics”). Of course, having no idea what that even meant, you shrugged it off your mind.
Giving your last goodbyes to your old friend as he leaves both this job and this town for good. Leaving you alone for the night shift at the gas station, so tired that the only way to stay awake is slamming your head onto the desk.
Which is when you spot someone looking quite odd but also attractive and hot. Her name is Zyra, and somehow, she already knew your name. She’s the one to congratulate you on your application to Nebula Athletics being accepted.
After some chatting and continuing to be clueless about the entire thing while she rambles on about this intergalactic university, it all ends with you being handed a remote control, which you will use once the time has come and you are ready for departure to this space college.
Later an old friend of yours, who you haven’t talked to or had any kind of contact with, comes walking in exhausted and barefoot. Last seeing her in the car of the son of the person owning the gas station (some rich spoiled prick).
Turns out she was not dating the son and escaped into the desert after making up some excuse for him to pull over. Leading her to walk 10 kilometers, barefoot, while it is 40 degrees outside even during the night, and demanding a beer from you to quench her thirst.
All in all, it ends up with the two of them doing something naughty (of course, the player can choose not to as well) and getting caught by the son, who got a gun. Leads to an escape through the desert, ending up at their family’s place and meeting your old principal about to please herself. (Again, the decision to do it with her is a choice, not a need).
Escaping from that place, you end up trapped at some abandoned carnival with the rich dad and son after your ass, both equipped with handguns and determined to eliminate you.
In the nick of time after getting caught along with the girl who came to rescue you. They press the controller you got earlier, which they took while emptying your pockets, and thereby called the spaceship.
Loading the four of you but only keeping you and the girl. Both of you had accepted applications but neither knowing when or how they applied. (The son and dad got obliterated, and no one knows if they died or got sent back.)
After the commotion, Zyra comes out after napping and greets the both of you, answers any questions, and shows you the way to the showers (where things can happen if chosen). You head off after you arrive at the university, and the game ends for now before the full release.
Visual & Audio
Visuals
The visuals overall look good, all depending on the scene and camera angle, but they looked detailed, realistic, and pretty much good enough.
For the animations or animated scenes, it all could depend. Some close-ups were highly detailed and smooth, almost looking completely real. While other further away angles looked a bit janky, unsmooth, and a bit weird.
It all depended on the scene, but most good ones were close-up shots, while the ones showing the whole character looked like they weren’t as refined or smoothened, but by saying so, I don’t mean all whole picture animated scenes were bad; there were some good ones too.
Audio
The music is indescribable, at least during the menu or when starting a new game. The song is gorgeous with voice and instruments, but later during the game it’s switched to only instruments but still sounds very good during the play of the game and switches vibes during the scenes or actions.
SFW sound effects played very loud, while NSFW was more on the quieter end, but still both were very good, fitting every part and scene.

My final little thoughts
Star College Episode 1 so far from playing the entire DEMO does indeed have a large potential of becoming something quite good. And hopefully the rest of the game plays out like the demo, as in jokes, story, and animations. (Hope for smoother close-up shots. Very well made)
Highly recommend trying it out, and if you like the free demo. Try the entire game when it's released.
