The Lust City Season 2

The Jungle’s Mystery Continues
In the sequel of The Lust City, we can see the tribe thriving after improving their community and structures.
But the good never lasts long, as the general returns from the demon realm more powerful than before.
Story - Content
The return of The Lust City in The Lust City 2 takes around 3+ hours to complete, DLC included. It continues the story of our protagonist after his victory and after some moons of ruling his new kingdom.
There have been a lot of improvements to the tribe's defense, structures/buildings, and overall appearance. Everything looks more modern, sturdy, and, to be honest, pretty.
The story begins with a small introduction to the tribe by their king (our protagonist) as he displays the improvements, and alongside, he’s the new home for him and his Queen.
Later, while wandering around and entering the bathhouse, you stumble upon your freed goddess, and after a quick chat, she teleports you and her to your throne room for some “Fun”.
But not shortly after The General returns, seeking revenge after being banished to another realm, but getting stronger in his absence.
After a failed attempt to stop him, the goddess teleports the two of you away to outside the tribe’s walls and to safety. And with this achieved knowledge, you must find a way to stop him once again, now in his stronger form.
The Lust City 2 has gotten a big change compared to the first game, and that’s free roaming. Allowing the player to choose where in the tribe to go and which door/room to enter.
Letting the player choose how the story plays out in a more gameplay alternative way. For example, the player can talk to more NPC tribe women who aren’t one of the main faces. And they can either give lore dialogs or just overall a good time.
This system allows the player to do so much more by their own will, but the “Quest Tracking” system is kind of useless. The one and only “Quest” that is displayed is “Follow the yellow arrows” which refers to the Map that shows every interactable building inside the tribe.
And even after going to the specific place and talking with that character at said place, it doesn’t always disappear, causing confusion if there is anything else needing to be done but is unseen.
The story itself isn’t as thrilling or interesting as the first game, if I am honest. Whilst the first game was building up the story and always keeping us on our toes for what comes next and what may happen.
To this sequel, which is more focused on a gameplay-based story progression. It’s still a good visual novel, but the first game got more pull to it. Pulling oneself into the story, while again the sequel requires the player to act more themselves with a decent to okay story.
Sandbox Mode & DLC
The Sandbox Mode doesn't work, or I assume that because I tried starting both Visual Novel and Sandbox mode. And both started the same; both followed the storyline, and I did not know how far in I would need to progress to be able and freely play the Sandbox Mode.
The free DLC is just a quick 20+ minute extra add-on that got a few more lewd scenes that the player can watch.
Visuals & Audio
Visuals
The visuals more or less look to be the same/alike to the ones from the previous game, the only difference being some new layout of structures, character looks, and different scenes and places that we'll see and visit.
A lot more detailed interior to make all seem more real but also cozy.
The animations might have changed a bit, but it has gotten a completely new system since the previous game. Now during lewd animations the player themselves can choose what position from four different options and also change the camera angle.
Giving one simply lewd scene into a major lewd content upgrade and giving more control to the watcher.
Audio
The music isn't as fitting as one would think, for most of the time it's a calm piano melody that is being played and can change to a more serious tone during combat/dangour scenes. But otherwise it sounds good, soothing to the ear, and won't get annoying over a long period of time.
The lewd audio during animations sounds good, but like the previous game, the audio sounds almost the same in tone but changes the way of it depending on position/action.
And the lewd noises sound well done according to the actions/positions of the animations. Giving it more realism and erotic touch to the ears too and not just the eyes.

My Final Little Thoughts
In my honest opinion, I do think The Lust City had a more interesting and story-intended focus and acted like a true visual novel should.
While this sequel lost track of that and mainly went into gameplay-based and free-roaming, causing the story to lack.
So with the current price that the sequel is out for, I would say wait for a sale, but I would still recommend it. But I highly recommend trying their previous game, The Lust City, first before the 2nd one.
