Hot Property is one of those NSFW VNs that can be a hit or a miss, depending on your taste. This is an AVN that proudly shows off its “Utterly Ridiculous and Sexy” badge. You jump into a world where the main plot device is nothing but attraction, & every circumstance seems to have been created to be as awkward as possible. It is pretty silly, shameless and clearly designed to entertain you. Honestly speaking, I am not really a fan of such AVNs.

Storyline

In this game, you are put in the shoes of a pretty ordinary dude who suddenly has to pretend to be a famous film director. The actual director is stuck behind bars, and barely anyone knows what he looks like. These circumstances somehow allow you to be the lucky replacement. The major problem now is that you have 0 idea when it comes to movie making. Instead of trying to figure out what you have to do with the cameras and scripts, you’re mostly trying to survive through an attack of wild encounters with the very very straightforward characters.

The story doesn’t pretend to be anything else but ridiculous. It fully leans into comedy and adult humor by using over-exaggerated situations and a bit too over-the-top reactions to keep things lively. There is a pretty light element of mystery later on, which kinda adds a lil bit of spice. Being a VN, your choices obviously matter too. They can lead to different endings depending on how you handle each situation you are put in.

Gameplay Mechanics

At its core, this game is just a classic VN. You read the dialogues, watch the scenes and make choices that decide what branching path you take. These different paths are what add a replay value to the game.

They allow you to choose a name for the protagonist, which is good since it adds to the immersion. There is also a replay gallery so you can rewatch your favourite scenes without having to play the game all over again. There isn’t much more when it comes to gameplay mechanics tbh.

Visuals & Audio

Visually, the game kinda goes all in. It uses 3D renders with a large collection of images and a handful of animations. Honestly, I would like to point out that not all animations are visually appealing, but they kinda work. Some of the animations were made using AI and it’s quite apparent. The character designs are a bit varied, with different body types and looks. But I am not a big fan of these kinds of characters since their faces look a bit too repulsive to me with their over-exaggerated expressions and all.

The music and SFX portion of this game is alright, nothing to write home about. And honestly, AVNs usually don’t focus a lot on the audio side, and I don’t understand why. Audio is a vital part of an “NSFW” experience.

This game is best enjoyed with low expectations and a kinda broken sense of humor. It is surely not trying to be serious. It is a playful AVN that is fully built around comedy and ridiculously awkward situations. The choices give it a replay value, the visuals keep it engaging, and the tone always stays light even when things get spicy. I just wish developers would stop using AI to make animations and visuals for their games, as it would kill the originality aspect of their own games.
