I played this game with my boyfriend, and we had an absolute blast. The deception and mind games brought out our competitive sides, and it was hilarious to see who could lie better!

📝Story/Plot without spoilers:

🔸 Set in the dimly lit Liar’s Bar, this game revolves around deception, trust, and betrayal. You’ll pick from unique characters like Scubby, the Bandit Guard Dog, or Foxy, the Gothic Vixen, each with their own twisted backstory. Your objective? Outsmart your friends in card and dice games where lying is your ultimate weapon. Whether it's bluffing about your card’s value or calling someone's dice bid, the stakes are high, and the loser pays the price in poison or a round of Russian Roulette!

🎮Gameplay:

🔸 Liar’s Bar thrives on its unique blend of social interaction and competitive strategy. The dice game mode contains a set of dice where you place a bet of occurrence spreading across the table. The deck game mode is the most popular, comprising a fixed deck of table cards, queen, king, and ace table. The two original game modes, Liar’s Deck and Liar’s Dice, are already fantastic, but the new Chaos Ruleset cranks up the intensity.

------🔹 In Liar’s Deck, bluff about your card’s quantitity, and if someone calls you out wrongly, they have to Russian Roulette, but with the new additional mode, now if you call someone out correctly, YOU decide who faces Russian Roulette. The introduction of Master and Chaos cards adds more unpredictability. Imagine everyone having to pull the trigger simultaneously! It's chaos in the best possible way.

------🔹 Liar’s Dice remains a classic bluffing game with poison penalties, but adding characters like Kudo, the Devious Red Panda, makes each round more dynamic. Kudo’s sharp-witted dialogue adds personality to the gameplay, engaging even routine rounds. The game is also about keeping in mind the possibilities because there are finite sets of cards/dice placed on the table.

------🔹 The Chaos Ruleset shines when played with a group that loves surprises. It completely transformed our gameplay, making every moment tense and unpredictable. This patch injected a refreshing sense of danger and strategy, keeping us hooked for hours. However, as with the original game, it’s most fun with new players or larger groups to avoid repetitiveness. Like other games, Liar’s Bar also has bugs, but thankfully, the developers fix them very quickly, such as when there is cheating or the lobby shuts down when the hosts leave.

------🔹 There are things I would like to see added to the game, like the ability to use emotes within the game like smoke, drink beer, laugh, show finger, etc. New maps will also be fun, and the game will be compatible with VR and new game modes.

📷 Graphics:

🔸 The bar’s dimly lit, grimy atmosphere perfectly complements the game’s theme of deception and intrigue. Each character has a distinct quirky and eerie design, like Bristle’s tattoo of his late wife or Foxy’s gothic charm. The new addition, Kudo, is a standout with his playful and sly red panda design. While not groundbreaking, the graphics suit the game’s mood and deliver a captivating visual experience.
