Story - Content

My Dorm – Season 1 is a visual novel about our protagonist and his family which all consists of none being blood-related, but all sees each other as family and after some teasing moments everyone begins to have different thoughts about incest.

The story begins with our protagonist finishing college and coming back home to meet his family again but to also help them in their new future business. Your Mother and Aunt got the great idea to combine the two houses since they live just next to each other and open a paid school dorm. Where the students rent their rooms and will live in this entire dorm during their time going to school.

First week home and after a very warm and big return welcome from your family, things don’t go as planned. In which I mean, multiple times that family member has walked in on you during your showers (whether spicy or normal) and ending up with everyone having seen your groin.

And later after spending some sweet time with them, being a hero but also getting fucked up in the bad way by one’s ex and stepping over the red line with your aunt as your father warned about.

I’ve played 13,7 hours and unlocked 14/61 achievements. This game gives good visuals, good audio, and a very interesting story. And after these many hours i am still only breaking the first layer of the iceberg.

And the price makes the whole deal even better, like I've seen games that are 2 – 3 hours that cost more than this one. So, this would be a must try in my opinion.

|Lore – Background Information|

Our protagonist's father, Edmund Marks. He’s in his mid-forties and works as head of security at the local university. We get along, but we’re not very close.

He works long hours every day and we don’t spend much time together. He became a widower of my mother, Anna, when I was five years old. She died in the same plane crash in which my Uncle Mike died in.

My mother and Uncle Mike were in the cloning business and were doing illegal human cloning experiments. On the plane, during the crash, there was another person important to this story, although I never met him while he was alive.

He was Dominic, the third partner in the cloning company and the boyfriend, at that time, of whom became one of the most important people in my life. After the accident, through shared grief, a bond began to forge between my father and Dominic’s ex-girlfriend.

They started dating 7 months after the accident, and she moved in with us a year later. They never married. When i was 8 years old, I called her Mom by mistake, like when you call a teacher Mom. Then, I started calling her Mom as a joke and, finally, out of habit, being the only mother figure i remember clearly.

This is where it gets interesting. Martha (aka Mom) didn’t come home alone, she brought with her a girl three years younger than me. But she was not hers nor Dominic’s child, but the result of the illegal cloning experiments.

The girl has lived with us ever since and is like a sister to me, despite her obsession with anything pink.

Then, there was Uncle Mike, the one who died in the accident along with my mother and Dominic. He was my father’s older brother, and he lived in the house next door to ours. He lived with this woman I’ve always called Aunt, even though they were never married. She inherited the house when Uncle Mike died.

Norah was always very affectionate with me. We were the two chubby ones in the family, and we sought out each other’s affection. Some people, like my father, said we were getting dangerously close to a certain red line.

There are two girls about Emma’s age living with her. They are also clones. Although we are not related, since they live with Aunt Norah, I always called them cousins or “the twins.” Emma, Daphne, and Erika were the country’s first people adopted by corporations.

Anna, my real mother, Uncle Mike, and Dominic created three subsidiary companies of the cloning company to do so. Dad says they got the idea for it from a movie called The Turman Show. None of them know this, or even that they are clones.

After the accident, Norah, Martha, and a Foundation inherited the three companies and a part of the shares of the main company each. None of us know anything about the Foundation. They never answered our communication attempts. They just send a juicy annual check to Martha.

My father always said there was something shady about all of that, as it’s strange that the deceased had their wills so tied up while in the prime of their lives. In short, I consider 6 people family, but the only one related to me is my father. But I’m not the only one to consider us a family.

Since they don’t know they are clones, Emma thinks she is my sister, and the twins think they are my cousins. It’s another reason to call Martha Mom, and pass for a normal family, so they won’t find out.

And, finally, this is me: 21 years old, about to graduate from college, and in need of a haircut.

Within the Profiles tab you can find information about the girls, such as b-day, age, height, relationship and job. And special pictures you unlock during your playthrough.

You can also change some of the choices you make about them on the profile screen.

Within the settings, the game gives the player the ability to choose whether they would like to keep content within the game.

Or rather turn that specific content off, such as:

Visual & Audio

Visuals

The interior designs for the buildings and houses/rooms that we get to see are deeply detailed, or at least enough for a good-looking state.

Character textures have gone more towards the realistic touch but not as detailed has been seen in other games with their high-quality skin textures. But it's still very realistic to look good during close-up scenes.

Now then, intimate animations and realistic image backgrounds. Its clear deeper and more advanced lewd animations aren’t shown by every time something hot and spicy happens.

Similar to the audio, it’s only shown/implemented a few times, though even during those few times they are either medium speed and very clear to notice it's a repeating animation. Or they’re faster and somewhat smoother, but tiny collisions could be seen during both.

For the realistic image backgrounds used a few times deeper into the game. They make the whole thing seem off and during the first intimate scene with that background with “Alexia” the player can clearly see the background twitching and bugging out.

Audio

The background music contains both instrumental music and normal singing music. It wouldn’t be possible to try to explain all the types of songs and their themes, and so on.

There was a large selection of all types that I can say.

For the lewder scenes, there wasn’t always moaning added, though I’ve noticed a few more times where it’s added in later scenes further into the game.

And the background noises fit in during the times they play but can be muted by the background music depending on one self's settings. (There are also no lewd sounds added to lewd scenes.)

My final little thoughts

After playing for 16 hours and speeding my way through it, I am on the edge of finishing the whole game, but it looks like the content never ends. When all the achievements run out, the “Students” arrive and give even more content to see.

All I could say about this game is I highly recommend it mainly for its story and not as much for its lewd scenes or animations. But a good and very long story for a very cheap price.
