Incomplete Games Trigger Me
THE SHRiNK is an AVN that tries to mix science fiction, a virus outbreak, and, well… a whole lot of questionable decisions. You play as Alex (or whatever name you choose), a 23-year-old dude who suddenly decides it’s time to change his life—right as a mysterious virus starts spreading in his town. And what does this virus do? It makes women… extremely horny. Yeah, you can probably guess where this is going.
About This Game
Storyline
The game technically has two storylines: one about a scientist who, out of pure spite, releases a virus that turns women into nymphomaniacs (because of course), and the main story, where the MC celebrates his birthday and then proceeds to sexually harass every woman in his household. The narrative is essentially a thin excuse to throw the MC into various situations with these overly sexualized women.
The story itself is linear, but there are choices that affect which fetishes and relationships you want to explore. Full incest? Sure. Childhood friends instead? That’s an option too. The game clearly caters to very specific tastes, but let’s be honest—nobody is here for deep storytelling or complex character arcs.
Gameplay Mechanics
It’s a classic AVN—click through dialogue, make some choices, and unlock different scenes depending on your preferences. There’s no real gameplay outside of choosing what kind of content you want to see. However, one major flaw is the missing gallery. With so many optional scenes, it would be nice to have an easy way to revisit them without juggling multiple save files.
Then there’s the buggy mess. The game was released with entire sections missing images—just black screens with dialogue. Apparently, this happened because the developer didn't understand how to handle DLC properly. I get that game development is hard, but selling a broken product and only maybe fixing it later is not okay.
Visuals & Audio
Now, credit where credit is due—the renders are amazing. The character designs are pretty detailed, and the game definitely leans into the whole sexy, exaggerated proportions style. The girls are designed to be eye candy, and they absolutely succeed at that. The game constantly finds excuses to put them in micro bikinis, revealing outfits, or compromising positions.
However, the lack of voice acting and erotic sound effects really kills the mood. For a game that focuses so much on that kind of content, it’s bizarre that they skipped adding moans or any kind of audio to enhance the experience. Silent animations just don’t have the same impact.
Pros
High-quality renders and attractive character designs
Variety of choices affecting scenes and fetishes
Plenty of adult content for those looking for that kind of experience
Cons
Missing images made large parts of the game unplayable at launch
No scene gallery, forcing constant save-scumming
Zero sexual sounds or voice acting, which hurts immersion
Developer has a track record of leaving games incomplete
Conclusion
THE SHRiNK is, at its core, spicy material and nothing more. It’s not trying to tell an engaging story or provide deep character development—it just wants to get you from one scene to the next. And while the visuals are undeniably well done, the game itself feels incomplete, buggy, and overpriced for what little content it offers. The developer did apologize and try to fix the issue, but why did he wait for almost 2 years to fix the issues?
Would I recommend it? If you’re really curious, wait for a deep discount. Otherwise, there are far better AVNs out there that actually deliver a complete experience.
Rating: 5/10
Being a game dev, I know how hard it is to finish a game. But at least I don’t sell my incomplete games.
